Warren High School is proud to announce the signing of Sengum Gankhuyag as she will be continuing her academic and athletic pursuits at California State University, Northridge. Gankhuyag has been a four-year varsity standout for the Bears’ Girls’ Golf Team. Since her first appearance with the Bears, she has been dominant on the links. Gankhuyag has vied for a San Gabriel Valley League Championship all four years, and she has represented the Bears in CIF competition each of her four years. As a senior, she missed qualifying for the CIF Finals by the narrowest of margins—1 stroke (notching a 77).
As Gankhuyag prepares for the next level, she is excited about the prospect of competing collegiately. She also has aspirations to represent her home country in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Gankhuyag will be competing in the Olympic Trials this summer.
The Warren Athletic Department is incredibly proud of all of Sengum’s accomplishments, and we await with bated breath the amazing accolades that are still to come for this young golfer!
