The Boys Water Polo Team wrapped up league with a 15-2 win yesterday against La Mirada. This victory helps the Bears secure a second place finish in San Gabriel Valley League competition, finishing 3-1. The Bears only lost came to the Downey Vikings in a hard-fought 10-7 finish. The boys’ water polo team opened San Gabriel Valley League play on Tuesday (10/2) with a commanding 8-2 victory over Paramount High School. The Bears were led by Edson Alvarado’s offensive showcase, scoring a team-leading 6 goals. The Bears limited the Pirates to only 2 goals, anchored by Dylan Cassasola’s 10-save performance in the cage.
